- Sign-In: Upon entering the Ashtanga Yoga studio, kindly sign in for your class.
- Injury and Health: Inform your teacher about any injuries, recent surgeries, or pregnancies.
- Adjustments: If you have any concerns regarding adjustments, feel free to communicate with us.
- Hydration: Stay well-hydrated, but leave water outside the practice room.
- No Food or Beverages: Food, gum, and beverages are not allowed in the studio space.
- Electronics-Free Zone: Keep electronics outside the studio to maintain a serene environment.
- Silence: Refrain from unnecessary talking in the practice room.
- Towel Placement: Place your folded towel behind your mat.
- Cleanliness (Saucha): Shower before practice and maintain clean gear. Well-worn items may need occasional deep-cleaning (try a vinegar-water solution).
- Fragrance Consideration: Be mindful of strong scents; some practitioners are sensitive.
- Alcohol Recovery: If you overindulged in alcohol the night before, prioritize recovery and stay home.
- Sequence Assistance: Don’t stress about remembering the sequence—we’ll provide reminders as needed.
- New Poses: Practice new poses only when advised by your teacher.
